Biden tells world leaders ‘the transatlantic alliance is again’

President Biden addressed world leaders as a part of the Munich Safety Convention on Friday, assuring them that “the transatlantic alliance is again” whereas stressing the necessity to defend democracy all over the world.

From the beginning of his speech, Biden made clear he hoped to ship “a transparent message to the world” that “America is again” and “the transatlantic alliance is again,” affirming america is “absolutely dedicated to our NATO alliance.” He sought to distinction his administration’s international coverage agenda with that of former President Donald Trump.
